About the Intercidades
Intercidades is the long-distance network of Comboios de Portugal (CP), comparable to the German Intercity. The trains serve routes away from the main Alfa-Pendular Lisbon–Porto corridor and open up the Portuguese interior, the Alentejo and northern Portugal.
